I've come to realize that the hardest part of life isn't knowing where you want to be, but HOW your going to get there. There are millions of ways to get where your going. The hard part is knowing which way is going to get you exactly where you need to be. The place where you belong. Its the journey there that helps shape your character to get you there. This blog is about my trip getting there.....

Decisions, Decisions

In high school all they did was question you from the day you walked though the doors..."What are your plans after high school?" Because at 13 years old we all know what we want to do for the rest of our lives. Thats a lot of pressure on our adolescent selves. If we had the opportunity to go back to that time I'd like to tell my guidance counselor that I'm going to be a pirate with a dead serious face. Not until college applications did I choose a major...engineering. That was only a little over a year ago and still I can't remember how I chose that career. So now as my second college semester comes to an end I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing...am I at the right school? do I transfer? do a take a year off? do I join ROTC at a different school? I have never been one who is good at making decisions, but I can say that I have not truly regretted most of the decisions I have made. They have helped build me into the person I am...I'm just not sure if that person is ready for the world or if the world is ready for that person.
